ok this is way too little too late and possibly will only serve to salve my own consience... however..
A whil back i also appraoched Ricardo for some traffic. This was before Sabby cam to the boards with her issue.
My deal was to get a % of decent traffic and a % of not so good traffic. Not sure what he called them..but i think one was called nitro traffic...anyways..
I paid a few hundred $$ and i waiting expectantly. First of all the daily amount i was 'guaranteed' to get simply did not appear. I checked my stats and servers daily and still there was a discrepancy. I logged into his system too that was also suposed to show me what i was geting.
The bottom line i did not get what i should have. I queried this and..yep you got it..was told i was getting/had gotten what i had paid for. That simply wasnt true.
Now thats all in the past and i put it down to a learning experience and moved on.
It is to my shame that i didnt come forward when Sabby addressed the boards. i sat back and let the situation unfold and said nothing. It is no exuse but my reasons were that if soo many others seemed very happy then could I have been wrong, why rock the boat, why stick my nose in etc etc. All pathetic and not very noble at all.
I felt dreadful when Sabby was called a liar and worse when she left as a result. I also felt similar feelings when reading about Bill and nikad.
The whole saga has been a learning curve for me and in retrospect I shiuld have been more vocal ( like i can be on other issues lol).
it seems sadly that everything being said is true adn i am glad to see the pond is taking the appropriate action.
there is no exucse for not posting when life throws you a shit hand.. i know this as over the past month ive been dealing with a horrendous issue in my private life and yet i still make it to the board and to keep in touch with those i do biz with. These communities are all about learning and support but if you bite the hand that feeds you then you deserve all that is flung at you.
it can take a life time to create a reputation and only seconds to see if destroyed.
