The problem at hand is that he HAD logged on, but made no attempt to post and explain anything.
Had he simply popped in, created a fresh thread, or responded in the existing thread saying that he is really sorry and that the issue with his girlfriend has gotten out of hand and how he will address the issue as soon as its possible for him it wouldn't have blown up into this huge 'Gone with the Wind' drama that it is.
Well, to clarify, it would have made a difference for me. While I don't like hiccups in business, I am not heartless and wouldn't begrudge him taking care of his girlfriend. His complete lack of contact stinks of scam.
