Arrow Make Easy Money with a Auto Updated Blog

As promised:

What is this?
This short tutorial will result in a auto updated blog, which means you don't have to spend time on this blog once you have configured it. Setup once and make money from it! There are a couple things you need:
- A Rss2Anywhere account, Rss2Anywhere will take care of auto updating your blog.
- A Thumblogger account, the blog that will be auto updated will be hosted at thumblogger. (wordpress support is under way)
- At least 3 RSS feeds, for example from 3 of your blogs or 1 of your blog and 2 RSS feeds from sponsors. These blogs don't have to be hosted at thumblogger, so any RSS feed from any blog which is still updated will work.

Register
First create a account at Rss2Anywhere, you will only need to enter your email address and password. The email that you can use to login will be send to the email address.

Now login.

Got a Thumblogger blog?
If you already have a blog at thumblogger which you would like to be auto updated then please skip this step. If you don't have such a blog yet then get a account at thumblogger and create a empty blog. ( Thumblogger, your first steps )

Enable xmlrpc functions at Thumblogger
You need to enable the option 'enable w.bloggar functions' in your thumblogger account. You can do this by logging in Thumblogger > Manage section > Options tab > now enable the option 'enable w.bloggar functions' and press the 'Change' button. Ready! Without this Rss2Anywhere won't function.

You thumblogger account
Now you're logged into Rss2Anywhere. Click on the 'Servers' link in the top menu and click the 'Thumblogger' link in the table. Now enter your email address and password you use to login at thumblogger. Press the Change button and now click the 'Import/update blogs' link to import your thumblogger blogs into Rss2Anywhere.

Add the RSS feeds
Click the 'RSS feeds' link in the top menu and click the 'Feed a blog with a RSS feed Wizard' link at the bottom of the page. Enter a name for the RSS feed and the url to the RSS feed (atom is also supported) of the blog. Press the Update button.
Now go to 'Step 3' and check if the RSS feed looks OK, it should display the subject and message of the blog post and the 'link to orginal post' should work. If not than please go to 'Step 2' and read the instructions on the page.
If everything looks OK go to 'Step 4'. This step isn't really necessary. But if you have a RSS feed which only contains partial blog posts (in other words: only a part of the orginal blog post) then please click the 'example 1' link which is located just above the 'Message template' field. Click the Update button if you changed the 'Message template'.
Now go to 'Step 6', this is the final step. Select (check) the blog which you want to be auto updated (in the 'Add all RSS items from this RSS feed to Post Queue of the following blogs' and 'Automatically add new RSS items from this RSS feed to the Post Queue of the following blogs:' section). Click the 'OK: Add RSS feed!' button to add the RSS feed to Rss2Anywhere.

Repeat
Now repeat the previous step 'Add the RSS feeds' for the other 2 RSS feeds. Be sure to select the same blog in 'Step 6'.

Setup Blog
Click the 'Blogs' link in the top menu and click on the blog name which you want to be auto updated. Now enter '1' in the 'Post interval' field and '1' in the 'Post count' field, this means that the auto update blog will be updated once a day with 1 blog post. Don't forget to enable the 'Enabled Blog' setting. Press the Change button.

Final touch
Scroll a bit down and you will see a section entitled 'RSS items in Post Queue'. The Post Queue is a queue which contains all RSS items that will be posted on your blog. Of course they will not be posted all at the same time, instead they are posted at the specified interval. Most RSS feeds have a lot content so i usually enable the 'Hide item Message' setting, which hides the blog post message. Now go and change the dates of the items in the Post Queue a bit so that the RSS items from the different RSS feeds are shuffled. This is necessary because Rss2Anywhere will add the post with the earliest date to the blog.
If you want you can add a blog entry to your blog just to make it look less empty: go to the 'Last Post' section and click the 'Schedule a post' button. Within 30 minutes the first blog entry will appear on your blog.

That's it!
Now you have got a blog that is automatic updated! When you post a new blog post on one of the three blogs then this post will also appear on you auto generated blog. It might be the next day or maybe the next week, it really depends how big your Post Queue is. Now you don't have to do anything in Rss2Anywhre anymore. All is setup and you have a extra blog which doesn't take up your precious time.
You might want to login into thumblogger and give your auto updated blog a cool look and some banners and some links. Make sure you have at least 3 blog entries on your blog (change the 'Post count' field to '3' and click the 'Schedule a post' button, after the blog entries are added to your blog change the 'Post count' field back to '1'). Then submit it to the blog directories. If you want use the Blog Submitter.

What did i just do?
If you want to understand what you just did you might want to follow the QuickStart guide. You can also browse through Rss2Anywhere and read the little tips, they contain very helpfull information. If you do something wrong, just delete the RSS feed on the 'RSS feed' page and try again.

Is there more?
Yes, in fact there is a lot more. You can find a lot uses for Rss2Anywhere, for example:
- giving live to old or dead blogs with blog entries from RSS feeds.
- supporting a good blog with blog entries from RSS feeds.
- agree on posting blog entries of a RSS feed of a friend.
- a lot a lot more!

That's it, if you have a question or if something is not clear or if you are missing a feature then please post a message.
Phew, that was a lot of typing, my fingers need rest now.
