If you reload a couple times, you'll see the adsense ads appear on the opposite side of the article, and the 2nd ad is always on the opposite side of the 1st one. That's the configuration that that I've found to maximize the CTR on a blog, but I still have many configurations to try. BaldBastard will laugh at such a low number, but over the last 7 days I now have an average CTR of 4.5% on this site.
