Ok so I used that keyword density tool on my competition for the site and 2 word keyword phrase I mention in my last post. His keyword density is 11% for that 2 word phrase and he is ranked pretty solidly #1 for it on Google. Would that mean I should be able to overtake him on the ranking for that term with time? What are the most important factors to him outranking me, the age of his site and his inbound links? How much weight does keyword density have in the big picture?
