A lot of my related two-word phrases have a density of below 1%. Is that something I need to try to bump up to 2%? How many key search terms do you want to be near 2% for? I'm not sure how to bump all those related terms up that much without making my copy sound ugly. Any thoughts? The text in all your text links and the text in your image alt tags counts towards keyword density right? Thx.

You don't have to go back and do over but keep this simple formula in your head. For every 1000 words of text you want your keyword mentioned 20 times. And if you can't get it in there 20 times thats okay. Just try to shoot for that.
You Can Also Build Blogs Aimed At Yahoo at 5 % and I DO
You can build Blogs that you hand submit the feeds to Yahoo at 5% and you will rank high for these Blogs at Yahoo. Yahoo to me seems to like the long tail much better than Google and I can do much better at Yahoo for long tail search terms.
Long tail is a 3-5 sometimes longer key word phrase. Basicly you pick out a long tail key word phrase and you build a Blog around it. Thats the way you do it for Yahoo. And if you pick out a mid range key word phrase and run your key word density at 5 % you should do well at Yahoo. You also want to submit your rss feed for every blog to Yahoo. Yes every Blog you own.
Submit Your Feeds To Yahoo Here

You must sign up for a free Yahoo account to do this. You will need one later anyway if you are going to follow this whole 12 week project.
Have A Site You Can't Seem To Get Indexed By The Search Engines
Every once in a while you may have a site you can't seem to get Yahoo or Google to index no matter what you do. Don't lose hope there is a simple solution. Create you a " My Google Page " and a " My Yahoo Page " and add your feed for your Blog they won't seem to index to your page. Yes both of them. You will find it indexed this way quicker than anything else.
Never Pay Anyone To Get You In A Search Engine
Use the above method and you will get there. The guys charging for 7-10 day inclusion are using this very method and charging $50.00 to $150.00 to do it.
