There are tons of new small mainstream sites using za*go as a way to monetize their sites. And most seem happy to do so. Maybe mostly because they simply don't know any better. Just like adult, the za*go promoters find new webmasters an easy target.
I spoke(email) with a new WM on Wednesday who signed up with za*go using their gatekeeper program. He is quite happy with the meager revenue even in the first few weeks. We sent several emails back and forth but he never did quite get the 'big picture'. Keep in mind this is a noob, he only sees opportunity with za*go, not the harm.
I did ask him how he ever found za*go as a revenue source. It came from, and was recommended by, a member of a small obscure forum ran by a hosting company for their resellers.
All that being said, I wish there was a web site to send people to explaining and time-lining some of the crap that goes on. Maybe there is? Where? Someplace with all the information in one pile.

Exactly, but for some reason trying to increase the knowledge base here is a bad thing.
Sponsors that use Zango steal from us, it's no different then shaving, but they can run promos on the boards, and chat it up and are accepted like nothing was going on.
You start threads to increase that knowledge base and you're referred to as some sort of activist with a tinfoil hat playing with conspiracy theories. It's very odd to me that this topic is not as welcomed here as much as it is on every other board.
Sure there is always haters, but I don't see how spreading the truth is a bad thing. It's very odd to me.
I am working on a site like you just mentioned, get with me on ICQ, can give you some more details, and would love your input.
And what you said is a perfect example, I hear about people everyday signing up and using zango, a lot of people are going that route as it's "easy" money. The only thing is that the more people who use it "installs" the more it effects the people sending honest traffic.
