This has nothing to do with whether you are going to charge one-off or subscription payments for the site. You will be missing out on a decent chunk of change if you don't continue to market to those numbers...

Yes we realise this but I wanted to make it clear to other readers of this post so I wouldn't waste their time asking if it was a subscription service.
From a commercial standpoint we will collect mobile numbers of customers because we can then adivse them when we upload new films to the service and active databases are a very good asset for our business and they are worth their weight in gold,oops is that the sound of the price going up......only joking thanks for the advice though.
