How the hell does that work? I'm no programmer so I don't really have a clue, but how does it manage to flip text without converting it to an image? Isn't the character set more or less hardcoded?

Edit: Okay, found my answer:

"Basically, it uses letters that are 180° rotations of other letters to spell a sentence upside-down -- some letters are in the Latin alphabet (e.g. "u" and "n" are rotations, as are "p" and "d") while others are used by linguists to represent certain sounds, and were therefore included in Unicode."
