Hey man welcome to blogging
Five years in and I'm still learning and breaking things lol...
Search for Thomas Byers posts for the art and skills of blogging - however when it comes to getting started particularly with thumblogger it really is down to you to fiddle about/break things/mess up and then whammo one day it kinda falls into place...
I'm kinda waiting for the day when I'm capable of writing a tutorial for the very very basics of blogging...
Despite doing it for an age I kinda go with the trial and error principle of pressing as many buttons as I can until I get some semblance of a blog appear
Seriously though I agree there is a real lack of an ABC to basic adult blogging - particularly the techy side of things...
However I assure you breaking stuff is the way to learn - and with netpond and Twans forum (see above) you are a click away from help!
