My roof was leaking Friday (again) so I headed to the pub - they had to shut the kitchen as water was gushing through extractor fans...
Behind the bar was 3 inches of rain and water began dripping through the lights...
The river Leam burst it's banks and people from south of the town were stranded as the buses couldn't get through...
To be honest it became a bit of a party atmosphere with folks staying alot longer and drinking more than normal...
As a smoker the funniest thing was us burly blokes standing outside in torential rain under pink flowered tiny umbrellas
We were lucky this time around - Stratford-Upon-Avon/Alcester/Worcestershire were indeed badly hit...
Seems to have calmed down here - but very cold and damp - so much for July
