I pay $116 CAD for 10Mbps high speed internet, and about 400+ digital TV channels.
Videotron may be a monopoly, but compared to Rogers and Shaw we have the best speeds and service in Canada in Quebec.

My mother pays $50 a month in Ontario for a 1Mbps cable connection
