This is motivated by a thread HB started and others might get some help from it. I'm going to explain it in a general term so you understand it better. And for many it's so basic they will be asking why I posted it. Newbies need help is why.
The Internet is the biggest shopping mall in the world and it's in sections. People go to the sections that appeal to there needs via different methods and some are just wandering around aimlessly. Decide for yourself which one is best to sell to.
Now assuming he's gone looking for "Mature" and in that section of the mall. Now you need to tell him the type of mature sites you have to offer. Do you offer everything or something very specific? What ever it is you need good text that tells him why he should click your link and come over to browse your shop.
Now you offer him the goods he came looking for, in the easiest most user friendly way you can. You also want to make a sale so even though you want to offer him things that you like it's more important to offer him things he likes.
For instance if you're targeting mature women having sex with younger males. Tell him in the title of your link, show him sites in that theme and try to have as many good sites as you can find in that niche. You could have Grannies with younger males, older milf type as housewives with younger males. Porn Stat glamour type woman with younger males. And the list goes on.
Don't promote a site that's not good. In some niches odds are he's signed up and been ripped off by it and it taints the rest of your sites you offer.
Some golden rules.
NEVER SELL A PRODUCT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.
Never sell a product you don't believe in.
NEVER SELL TO A BUYER YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.
Never sell to a buyer you don't like.
The reasons are so obvious I will not explain them.
I'm not saying you can't stand in the mall and hand out leaflets to everyone who walks by, but targeting your traffic and sales is by far the most profitable. How you target is up to you, just assume there are millions of people who like what you like and will buy what you like. You know know how to talk to them and you know what they want.
