Absolutely agreed.
Especially with programs like AWE.. you've got an expiring cookie, for example, and they don't even keep paying you for your customers on the revs program unless they keep buying through your code. So, for example, John Q. Dumbfuck comes in through my link and buys some credits- I get 20%- he comes back tomorrow using the same account he created through my link, I get totally fucked dry on what is due me.
I might be wrong about that, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works. They do at least stop paying you your fair share on REVS when your cookie expires- that much I am nearly 100% sure of. And I feel that if you spent $1M promoting their PPS program you'd make probably three sales.
I think that alot of affiliate programs have a plethora of ways to fuck you right up your ass what with their upsells, tour leaks, untracked alternate billing methods, etc etc etc.
