The first question is "will the surfer buy anything". The sad reality is that if you are running a free site, link site, or even a very good SEO page, you are only looking at 1 in X that will actually take out their wallet or purse and pull out the CC to buy something. For many people, the price isn't the issue, they aren't paying even if you offer to send the girl over to blow them in person.
If it is pretty much the same effort to sell $4.95 or $29.95, I know which one I want 60% of, especially if it is recurring. The $4.95 would have to retain 6 times longer for me to make the same amount of money, and I would have to wait 6 times as long to get paid out.
Pam, it's the best thing when you have a domain that is right on target, and everyone walking in the door is a true potential customer. We all wish we had more of those sites!
