Would You Share Your Email With Your Spouse?
I was reading Redbook yesterday and there was this short piece on whether or not spouses share the same email accounts. I nearly fell over. I couldn't believe the responses.
"When we became husband and wife, we entered into a covenant with each other and part of this is being totally honest and not hiding anything. Different email addresses would give cause for unnecessary suspicion."
What? I don't even like my husband answering my phone, I certainly don't want him digging around in my email and it has nothing to do with "hiding anything". My email is like my calendar, my TO Do list - what a mess it would be if two people had their hands in it.
Maybe it's different because I'm such an email junkie. Maybe if I only wrote to friends and family now and again it would be different. . . . nah. . it wouldn't.
Do any of you share your email addy's or even just your Outlook program with someone else?
