If Vista has this stuff installed as Microsoft has a want to do, then you may have to hit the dreaded message boards at Microsoft to find others with similar problems. Try installing them in safe mode, if they install and then work in normal mode then you're cool. If they install in Safe Mode but work only a few times in Normal, you know it's the security.
