The mexican west coast doesn't have great beaches. (I was in Manzanillo many years ago.....enjoyed the place, but it was a first vacation)

Try:

Cancun
Varadero (Cuba)
Punta Cana (Dominican Republic)

If you can get a good price for a Bahai Principe resort......go for it!
