Hey Everyone,
Just some generic information and questions to ask to keep you safe. I am not going to promote us or rip on anyone else, but I will try to provide some common sense questions so you can find which companies are best for you.
Find out whether the cam company owns the content... not all of them do, but some do.
There is no reason for them to own the content, it was your show, they got paid just like you did! If they are saying they own the content per contract , renogiate going forward!!! If they don't budge, then you will know what their goals and interests are.
2ndly, ask questions about what they can do to help you promote your sites. Good companies should be working with you to help each other. They have relationships with a lot of webmasters, why aren't they placing you with them? Why aren't your creatives being positioned to get traffic back to you at your chat, or even to your site?
Also ask about the traffic you send... How long do you get paid, (is it for life or only until the credit card maxes out or expires.) Keep in mind, some of your members joined the cam site because of you, and you should be paid according, on anything the surfer buys in the system.
I hope this helps in negotiating deals that work to your favor. We all know who really does the hard work, so don't be afraid to ask for the rewards.
You should have 3 goals in mind... making money now, promoting your site, and building traffic that you are getting paid recurring on.
My background was on the billing side first before the marketing, so i see things in the cam industry that really doesn't make sense. I think it will change for the better soon for all the cam girls and solo site owners.
