I wouldn't no follow links that are highly subject related to your topic, I think they help. If my sponsor page is all about big boobs and has nice keyword text rich boobs stuff that I am promoting and their title uses big boobs I wouldn't nofollow it. Its a hint about what my site is all about to the search engine. I think certain outbound links actually help. KEEP IN MIND this is just my theory, but it sure makes your site look like it is more in line with what the surfer is looking for. . . . .
but I would nofollow for certain sponsor links.
I've got a sponsor right now whose 2257 page is ranking high in a string word, why because people don't nofollow those links. I recommend that. Its a useless page that is up for its reason, but no surfer wants to go to the disclaimer.
