well, you should build your site and traffic with the paysites you're going to promote in mind... No use making a blog dedicated to Shemales in Uniforms as there are no paysites to promote in this niche for example. If your niche is so small that there are no paysites in it, it most likely means there's not enough potential customers to make it worth it.

There's no "good blog traffic" limit imho...
I'm making very decent sales from some blogs with not so much traffic (~500 visitors/day) and my biggest blog reached the 10000 visitors/day yesterday... :-) In my experience it's very easy to reach 200 visitors/day, a bit harder to reach the 1000/day but it's very doable; going over 2000/day and continuing to grow is not so easy, but rather than bring 1 blog to 5000 visitors/day, you may want to get 10 blogs to 500/day. Same visitor count, better targetting, and probably better sales too...
