If that was the idea they not only utterly failed, it could become the most
stupid failure in history. Years ago - at a convention in england - one of the
grand old ladys of the internet (can't remember her name) said that the day
politicians start to understand what the internet is they will be scared
shitless. I think that is what is happening now. I am sure a lot of them would
love to shut down the net, but that's not longer possible of course.
Look at china and their desperate efforts to censor the web or european
countries whos bureaucracys dream of doing the same... like finnland for example
