I've tried ringlights, but not on the shopping list, just yet. Make good results, I have to admit. One of the contributing photographers to the site I am on uses them a lot, and his results keep blowing my mind with the lights! Personally, I am kind of taken by the SB200s and RC1 kit, because even though you have the same sort of function as a ringflash, I think you could get some really creative results, as you can direction the flash heads...

I think more important, for me, anyway is either a second D200 body (I cannot get enough of this sized Nikon!) or the D300, and relegate the D200 to spares, and lose the older bodies.
