I was thinking about that using it in the ringflash like you said good idea.....but it's pretty new and costly and I need it for regular stuff. and cutting up a new flash would make me go nuts lol. I'm going to see if I can find a used flash for that....but I was very close to doing that because I couldn't figure out what was wrong lol
