Welcum to the Pond.

1. Read the tutorials and search the forum. There is a ton of info on how to drive traffic and maximise your sites potential for a sale.

Speak with your sponsor rep or someone within the company. They should know their sites and be able to help give you a push in the right direction as far as promoting them.

2. You should have a warning page, or at the very least, a disclaimer that states the site contains adult content. If one chooses not to view adult content or is a minor... and then give them an exit link.

3. You need to make sure the content you are promoting is legal. Whether you are using sponsor content, content you purchased, or more trickier - content uploaded to your site, make sure the proper paperwork is in order and permission was given to use that content in the manner in which you are using it.

Make sure the niche(s) you are promoting is legal in your Country, Province, State, and local jurisdiction.

Choose a host that allows adult content. Your whois info may be kept private if you choose, but the information needs to be valid and accurate. If you are concerned about privacy, register a business name and address.

Always read the TOS. Whether it is from hosting, sponsors, or a company you purchased a script from or something like that, never skip the TOS.

If you've got questions and wonder if what you are doing is legal, consult with an industry attorney. He or she will be able to examine your business and make recommendations to comply with any laws.
