I bet it will help video renders. On my desktop with readyboost, it speeds up video encoding quite a bit.

My mother asked me to download PAY IT FORWARD for her, (Keven Spacey - 2000, and definitely worth a view if you have not already seen it 5 times!!), and the only copy onliine I could find was Xvid ... her DVD player is a Kmart special and won't play DivX codecs, so I had to upconvert it to VOB for her ...
With my fossil of a graphics card (Dual head RADEON 7000VE) I was able up upconvert a 702MB XviD file to VOB in about 44 minutes ... about 2.8 times faster than real time NTSC (29.976fps), where previously a similar upconversion was just a bit longer than the playing time ...
I've been kicking the tires of this software for almost 24 hours now, and using professional benchmarks too (SANDRA) ... and it just keeps getting better and better ..
If sharing my enthusiasm is a crime, then yes I am guilty. Of course others that try this software, YMMV, because unless your test invironment was identical to mine, I would be very disappointed if your results did not differ ...
