I don't understand, nand (flash) memory has near 10MB/s random read speeds, any SATA $100 disk has over 60MB/s, so I really do not see any point in this.
Just put firefox to use 50GB for it's cache on second disk drive and you will have throughput of 60+ MB/s.
This would have sense with SSD drives who have 100+ MB/s average troughput (Samsung 1TB drive has 91MB/s, check Tom's Hardware charts
