[Photoshop] Simple Navigation Bar

Here is the first one, a simple navigation bar, horizontal
1 - Start a new document with 450x50 pixels with the value: #8B8B8B for the background.
Make a new layer (CRTL+SHIFT+N)
2 - Right click on Layer 1 and set the Blending options to these following values:
Now who should get something like this:
3 - Duplicate Layer 1, click on the duplicated layer, hit the Epilitical Marquee Tool , select a part of the image (view picture below) and hit Delete.
Result:
Alright, now, all you need to do, is add some text to that area, draw some vertical lines so it looks like some separators, and voilá...!
