Having to SAFELY dispose of 800kg of batteries every 4-5 years sounds like ALOT of maintenance to me ...

I still think BIO-DIESEL is the way to go .... Americans love their oil-fried foods, so there will be no shortage of raw fuel, and it burns
clean ... everybody wins!!
Diesel engines will run bio-diesel with no conversions needed!!
