Personally I am not going to work on laptop 100% of the time, simply because working on a huge 24+ inch monitor with full keyboard (most laptops have shortened version) and a large mouse that nicely sits in your hand is such a pleasure

I've got a 22" widescreen monitor hooked up to my laptop (and the small 15.4" laptop screen is running the same resolution - 1680x1050 - so that works perfectly for extended desktop. Browsers, text editors, graphics work etc. on the large monitor - file manager, Vista gadgets, small utilities etc. on the small screen) - plus of course a proper cordless mouse, speakers, printer etc.
After learning to hit the right buttons on a laptop keyboard (took me a day or two of frequent swearing), the only thing I'm really missing now and then is a numeric keypad.
But of course with that rather stationary laptop setup I could just as well be using a desktop computer. As I mentioned in my last post, I just felt like trying something new

- and so far I've been very satisfied with the solution. In fact it's the first time I've ever actually had a multi monitor setup, and even if I go back to desktop systems, there's no way I'm going back to one monitor again.
