my thoughts:
a travel sponsor may only be concerned on how you promote them (so keep it clean and your good).
i believe WP can be used to build static pages, or build a site that is comprised of both static pages and uses WP.
you can find royalty-free stock images of beautiful women of many ethnicities, and places by searching for "stock photos" or "stock images".
