I have 20+ affiliates out of my 100+ who are making enough with mobile to pay their rent each month. I think the real problem is laziness and unrealistic expectations that lead to failure, in not just mobile, but in almost any affiliate program.
Know that you are not going to make a substantial amount of money your first month, nor your second ... Hell for your first several months, you may not make as much as your little brother is at McDonalds even ...
But with a solid gameplan, and a supplimental income to tie you over while you establish your business, I guarantee you your year end will be several times more than his!
I hate to be so blunt, but if you are FLAT FUCKING BROKE without a dime to your name, hoping that the adult internet (or mainstream) is going to solve your financial crisis, you are very disillisioned!
This is a business, like any other, and there is going to be both financial and time investments needed to take it anywhere beyond hobby status. If you are looking to do everything for NO COST, or likewise if you expect to make a substantial paycheque one or two months into it, you are a fool! There are no free rides on the gravy train, and those who are prepared, and are willing to invest the time, money, discipline and common sense into their business, will be the ONLY ones who succeed.
Webmasters are the best excuse makers known to man! 90% of you would rather cry about the dismal size of your cheques, (if you even got one ...), than to take the steps neccesary to mae sure your next one is larger. I am tired of those who breed negativity! You are only going to get out of life what you put into it.
I am not going to get all spiritual on you here, but if you truely want to become better webmasters, you should study TAOISM ... and I am 100% serious here! I am not telling you to follow Taoism devoutly, but it will teach you a great deal about everything in the universe - your health, your relationships (personal, professional, and casual), your finincial health, your happiness, and about every element of life as we know it all depends on proper balance. I owe a great deal of my success to understanding things on a deeper level, and this began when I first started reading Taoism.
I am not preaching to you, but instead giving you a very intimate insight as to what I attribute my successes to. You can choose to do nothing with this info, or you can tell yourself that just in case facialfreak may be onto something here, I am going to research this a little bit. Your next move is up to you.
