I'd say 65-70% of all my sales are java/flash games ... The price difference from almost ANY other provider makes for an EASY sale! ONLY MEDIAPLAZZA does the volumes to be able to offer games at this price ...

I exploit the fuck out of the fact that mobile carriers are raping the consumer. Most of the people I talk to are OUTRAGED when I tell them how cheap my games are, as I am handing them my business card

This is my business, and I treat it as such ... I have business cards on me wherever I go, because I never know when I am gonna meet a guy with 1 million unique hits daily, who is looking for a new sponsor ...

If I see somebody playing a game on their phone, I'll ask them what game they are playing ... and if it is any good, and where they got it ... I create small talk ...

After they have told me how cool their game is for 2-3 minutes, I'll ask them how much they paid ... When they tell me I make a face like "HOLY SHIT DID YOU EVER GET TAKEN FOR A RIDE!!" (I stand in front of my mirror in the mornings and I practise this face ...), and then I tell them that I sell this game and over 120 others for $2.99 each, and they OWN the game. I put my business card in their hand, as I am telling them about my site in 100 words or less.

By the time this has transpired, I am their newest best friend, and they are none the wiser that they have just been sold! And I guarantee you that kids who play games on phones hang out with other kids who play games on phones, so they are going to be top dog tomorrow, by telling all their friends about this site where they can get $2.99 phone games!

If I am at Wendy's, and I hear some guy/girl's phone ring, and it's playing CANDY SHOP , then I will approach them AFTER they finish the call, and say I love their ringtone, find out where they got it (alot of times still IS their phone carrier in Canada and the US), and how much they paid. I make the same "practised" face, and tell them about mycustomfone.com in 100 words or less as I give them my card.

I am an opportunist by nature. If you are not, you need to re-program yourself to be!!

I talk to people about my business EVERY DAY! And I get my card in the hands of the ones I am pretty sure will visit my site (the ones with CANDY SHOP ringtones, or that I see playing games). This method of advertising was perhaps one of the BEST for many years before the internet came around, AND DOES STILL WORK!
