Mainstream affiliate suggestions/questions
Hi peeps.
I was hoping to get some thoughts on starting a mainstream affiliates program.
In all essence, it wouldnt be a full on program, just I have a new product range I am just setting up a website shop for and would like to consider the option of paying out commision on sales from affiliates links.
My questions are this.
In Adult people are used to like 50% commisions, even in adult toys etc it is around 20% average I beleive.
now I couldnt really pay out more than 10% on sales for these what I am selling, however the average sale price in pounds Sterling will be around 700-1000, so 10% on a sale would be a nice amount.
Like I said I havent started promoting the site yet, I have just been selling these products on EBAY for the last few weeks.
Now if that is anything to go by, I think with decent targetted traffic It could easily get a regular flow of sales, it may not be loads, but with a good SE Worker who could get toplistings on related keywords then I reckon at least 2 sales a day for the good affiliate wouldnt be hard.
So Basically, would anyone be interested in selling something Extremely Expensive, increasingly popular, not very saturated, and as a final thought, although being expensive, I am THE Cheapest around right now for these products so sales with targetted traffic searching to buy these would be almost guaranteed.
