From nothing to $$$ in mainstream with ringtone sites - part 2
Ok I decided to write a little again.
Step 3.
Modify your layout. It's quite an important step, and I haven't done so yet on one of my sites, so I need to do that soon. But when users see your site, they might recognise the layout, and go away quickly. So go change it. I beleave you can do that at /templates/. Also DO NOT forget to put up adsense, and maybe a banner for VIM passes, they give you a recurring income. Check your MediaPlazza account on that.
Step 4.
Setup a page where you will link to others, or do it in your templates. Just make sure you have a place to do linktrades, they are VERY important.
Step 5.
Do something special. Start a blog, a small informational site, review ringtones, whatever! Something different from other blogs, something people will like. Also it's very important for search engines, you can target those pages for specific keywords. Put up a link to this page/blog/site in your templates so every page links to it.
Step 6.
Now you have a good ringtones site, ready to run! Now what we need is traffic.....
There are several ways to get traffic, here are a few:
-Linktrades
-Search Engines
-PPC Search Engine traffic
-Bulk traffic
-Directories
-Offline advertising
Start with linktrades, these will get you some traffic, and more important: Get some Search Engines to your site! Read this thread:

And spend a
week searching linktrades. Your future success depends on this. Then do the other steps, try them step by step.
