they keep it simple and post each update on tour page. members area look almost the same as tour page with difference there are links to actual content.

I also tend to like the "reality style tour" for hardcore sites with regular video updates (whether or not we're talking about reality porn, which I'm not really much of a fan of myself).
You get a clear look at most or all of the scenes available, and if you've seen the tour before (or the updates are date stamped) you (as a surfer) get a confirmation that the site is regularly updated.

There are certainly other ways to make a tour I personally find at least or possibly more visually attractive though - although I imagine these alternatives often lend themselves better to some niches than others.
Here are some examples of non-reality style tours I like (I could find many others - I just picked these as they were among the first that came to mind, and each of them is also quite different from the others).
