What's the difference between an x-string thong and a g-string?

some call a xstring where the string at the end has a lil triangle but basically its the same

I did a bit more searching, and it looks as if an x-string could be a registered name for a thong that doesn't show a whale tail when you're wearing low jeans. I can't find any pics though.

its the same as the pic I posted but has the metal part with SEXY or whatever on it, theyre nice for photoshoots
