Traffic = money. I know, but it's my traffic, and I want to make the money by getting sales. I don't want to give it away for some other guy to make the sales.

If you have to exploit the traffic you are sent because most of it is crap, then don't be surprised if people who send decent traffic complain because you are abusing it to cover your costs.

What i would really want from webmasters is to be more responsive and attent to sponsors suggestions. The traffic is yours, headboy, is true and you know perfectly how think about it; but many webmasters, based on my personal experience, don't have a clue on how to use some of their traffic for promoting a certain sponsor and they won't listen to the sponsors point of view and suggestions. The result is that the traffic, little or big, do not convert and now the webmaster is pissed at the sponsor and the sponsor is the one not converting.

I see it like it is time to start pointing the finger equally to webmasters and sponsors, when conversions are bad or not what expected, and not only to sponsors. You should always keep in mind that a sponsor is the first one testing which traffic works and which not, with their own traffic, so, why not to listen to sponsors?

So, i'm with you headboy, but not about the amount of traffic. I mean...i would be certainly happy to get more traffic from sponsors, but i would rather prefer some of them to listen to me and optimizing the traffic they send me for my content and landing pages.

If sponsor suggest something I listen. I sponsor contacted me about my traffic and with his advice my ratios went better
