If Epassporte Gets Shut Down Overnight...

Due to recent actions of the US government clamping down on third party processors there seems to be a large scale of uncertainty amongst webmasters I talk to, most wonder how much longer Epass will be around... seems everyone is switching back to checks..

Are you doing the same?

How much will you lose should Epass go belly up overnight?

Epass isn't American, so they can't shut it down. They can make it hard for them to trade though I guess.

since those rumours started, i keep no more than $100-$200 in EP. I also think it can't be shut down and disappear without letting people withdraw their money first, but just in case i am keeping as small amounts as possible...

All these attacks on payment services are a bit short sighted imho. The net result is that they will move abroad, and stop using the dollar. As the US can't kill the demand, it will result in Americans getting used to purchasing in other currencies, and that will continue to weaken the dollar.

Yes indeed. I keep it empty. As fast as they send it in I either pull it out or send it some where else.

Back to checks?? I never and would never use them, they are horrible as a payment option if you dont live in USA. If epass got into troubles (though I dont believe this would happen) I would sure choose Wire transfer to get my money.

I don't keep more than $100 in epass. Usually less than that, and if possible I like check as a payment option.

I use epass without worries.

It's not a USA company & their mother company got offices close by so if they make any trouble I can just walk in there & have a chat with someone.

Epassporte's majority income derives from gaming/poker etc. - Not good , ask netteller

I believe Mastarcard isremoved as a loading option now.

Everyday on other boards people complain about problems with them.

Its not a question of "if" epassporte dies , its a question of "when".
