There's a difference between a bad sponsor, and a sponsor who supports link theft installers.

A sponsor with a 75% shave steal you income from promoting him, but he doesn't affect your signups with other sponsors.

A sponsor with an email harvester will reduce your sales to his paysites, and will increase your competion for future sales to surfers who submit email addresses, but he doesn't steal your signups with other sponsors.

A site that installs Zango tries to steal all your future signups with all sponsors from that surfer.

So what's dishonest about me.

What I am saying is don't support thieves and scammers. Sponsors vary from webmaster to webmaste., why does my reluctance to enter into arguments about whether a sponsor is good or not have any relevance to that. All that will happen is that some guy with shaved teen traffic will argue that a hairy milf site doesn't make sales - I've already been down that road several times.

If you send somewhere that steals from you, or other webmasters, who supports content theft then you've made a bad decision.

i would love to send my traffic to honest sites. but as far as i know their

are no honest sites. even a site on site has been tarnished with calls

of dishonesty so if i have to choose between dishonest companies i

will take the ones i will get paid with

There are tons of places to send to. Not all of them are bad, if you dig deep enough sure you're going to find a bad thread or two, but overall there is a lot of good as well.

People not using zango, supporting torrents etc.

I am against anyone sending to installers, trojans, toolbars etc.

I was saying to him when he was asking about a sponsor. He said they were all shady, and he would just to them and make money. I said they were not all shady and it's not my job to control his traffic.

I was referring to sending to dating, porn, cams etc. Not spyware etc.

You need to work out your own methods of optimising sales with sponsors. With some you need to drop your traffic every now and again to get the shaver turned down. With others you need to send more traffic. Some never pay rebills, and others give a constant flow. I don't chat with reps on ICQ, but it seems that that can improve your repoerted sales with some.

I don't believe that all sponsors are shady. Some are open about their traffic leaks, and some hide them - there are even a few who try to keep leak free.

I'm going to be away for 24 hrs later today, but I'll tidy up the site on Monday. I'll also pm a couple of other guys who support the fight against affiliate link theft.

I've also got an anti-virus site that I used to use to help Ebayers several tears ago. Maybe I should revive that to try to alert more surfers

Pam you still promote AFF too though aren't you? I did for a long while, and once I even considered throwing up some Zango pages on recommendation of someone else. I may still have an AFF link here or there that I've forgotten about, but I've probably removed most. Some alternatives might be LoveDollars (ran by TCG), Fling (HugeTraffic/NastyDollars), ImLive (PussyCash?), AdultDateLink, etc..

Something worth doing is using a domain of your own and promoting your dating or other sponsors on it instead of putting up hundreds of links to your dating sponsor and then having to change them out everywhere later. Then you can add links to your own domain containing the dating sales pitch, and sponsor links instead. This helps your own SEO and rankings instead of giving that valuable status away. When you want to switch out, you can do it all on your dating domain or pages instead of hunting down links everywhere.

When you switch to a new sponsor, keep in mind it can take a little time for the members to start converting and you can build some recurring up again just like you had to do when you first started using AFF.
