I support his business and what he does, and have no beef with him.

I also want to give a big thumbs up for pulling all links when he found out something was bad.

Dave is a great guy, one of the posters on here who has had my respect for years.

I think a PM would have achieved as much as the public thread did. Lets just put it down to a lesson and hopefully next time a softer approach can be taken. I think most participants here on netpond deep down want to do the right thing and education rather than persecution will be more effective in the future

LB it was not meant to hang him out to dry, it tossed me for a loop, he was posting about sending surfers away from his site, but then had the thing in his sig. I wanted to know why, not tell people not to use his product or services.

I still think if you're going to send installs and are a knowledgeable webmaster that you should do the research before sending, and will stand by that until I die.
