The last scene was tense, right? Well the way it ends puts you in his shoes. Always tense, always wondering what could happen next. And that's what it means, the feeling of having to always look over your shoulder not knowing what could be coming for the rest of your life.

I think the ending sucked but its nice knowing they didnt kill tony off. After following this show since its inception tonite may have been a let down. But being a jersey boy born and raised and removed I have to love the show

I think they are just prepping us for a sopranos movie.

But to just have a sudden black screen is an incredibly lame way to end a finale people were dying to see.

"Don't stop believing..."

The music stopped... at "Don't Stop"

I agree with Risky... it just put you in Tony's shoes... and his family... Meadow having trouble parking her car? How many times have peeps been whacked in that very same situation? Or the two dudes near the end? They looked alot like the black guys that tried to whack Tony that one time... It was very intense...

I didn't particularly care for the ending but I thought it was typical Sopranos...

Ok but Phil is dead. Who were you guys thinking was going to kill Tony and his family while Journey was playing?

It was intense only in the sense I was waiting for something climactic to happen, finding it impossible to believe that's how the show was going to end...and then it just stopped heh.

PRECISELY.

Tony should have realized episodes ago that it was Phil right hand man, that little funny looking bastard that was there when Tony beat up Coco... what a snake that guy is. Now that Phil is gone, Tony should have that guy hit as well.

Anyway, tony has skated past by the skin of his teeth several times, and I'm glad he made it again.

Excellent show.

I thought the guy at the end of the bar (that walked into the men's room) was going to shoot Tony, Carmella, and AJ while Meadow walked in and witnessed the shooting.

or the guy in the booth with the cap on his head...

or the two dudes lookin' at the stuff in the display case...

LOL it could've been anyone but I thought Meadow would see it and turn into Ms. Mafia...

I saw a thing on HBO about the Sopranos music and they said they are very careful and deliberate about the songs they choose...

and did it sound like the FBI agents were rooting for NJ or NY? Like who's guys would get offed first? it was pretty funny when the agent said "We're gonna win this yet!!"

I meant, what rival was left to put a hit on Tony with Phil gone. Not who would be the hitman.

It crossed my mind that the guy at the end of the bar could be an undercover cop or something...and that might add to the FBI subplot for a future movie/special/whatever.

Paulie was a self centered mofo with SEVERAL character flaws, but he was solid mafiosi (I'm no expert on the subject by no means). In my opinion though Paulie was a great soldier.

I had Tony pegged to be whacked ... I just did not know if it was going to be Phil or Paulie who did the deed ...

Paulie has dropped many subtle hints throughout the entire last season ..

I didn't see any of that. Paulie was dropping several hints that HE THOUGHT he himself was gonna get whacked... The thing about Paulie's character was that he wasn't bright enough to really RUN SHIT. And who was gonna tell Paulie to whack Tony?

it left too many strings hanging.

I always thought tony was gonna off paulie, thought he was gonna do it on the boat that one day.
didn't expect tony to get hit at all, not after the deal he made with those dudes.
did expect him to get popped by the feds, since his lawyer told him he would probablly be indicted.
al in all a shitty ending of a great series
