No that was rapidshare links on forums which are meant to be shared with everyone but I never really did that much after I found out how forum traffic works so know I bever suggested that anyone steal another persons work. Usually when you pull someones link off of a forum and post it on another forum you just give them more traffic to their link which results in more money for them or points that they can cash out. It depend on what host they are using. Surfers that use rapidshare don't care about money. They do get to keep there account based on how many people download there links though. Once I realized it wasn't going to give me any real solid traffic I stopped doing that, besides sharing links is not even close to what this guy is doing. I have never suggested that someone steal another persons text

Pam you are talking about something you don't seem to be informed about. Most surfer forums have very little text in them. They look more like linkdumps and operate the same way. There is really no text to steal. You can only share links on them.

Look I don't see how anyone can say I'm stealing when I post someones link on another board. If you talk to most porn forum surfers and ask them where they got the link they will point you to another board. The ones that upload there links are usually the ones that own there own sites or they are webmasters trying to get extra traffic. I own my own forum but I have decided not to keep posting on it because I see more money coming from my blog traffic. I can also see I will have problems with it in the future because of the response I have gotten on NP.

The fact remain that there are thousands of surfer forums and have you ever wondered why sponsors don't have them shut when they have the legal right to? Because they are a permanent part of the web now. They are a part of surfing reality now and will probably never go away. Plus the fact that unlike most webmaster, most sponsors can make 5 to 10 k a day or more and even the small ones make huge profits. They don't have time to worry about a forum that is making a few hundred a day if even that. Most sponsors are the ones posting the content on the boards a lot of times anyway. Ever noticed that some boards seem to have posts from the same sponsors. I was even contacted by one of my sponsors to take over my board.

All that being said I never really engages in link posting that much. After a couple of months I slowed down but I really don't see how you can equate link sharing to blog copying. They are totally different. One involves a surfer sharing links on a board. Plus the fact that you continue to accuse me of posting sponsor content when I never have, I used amateur content some of which was my own. The only time I used any sponsor content was about a year ago when I was first starting to use forums and didn't understand how they worked

Strangely though, you seem to think that your text is worth more than all the photos/dvd-rips/whatever you fenced. What makes me laugh is that if "everyone else does it" makes it legal then whats to stop every single member here making copies of all of your websites? wouldn't that be funny

He is using my refferal code so I am getting the sales but he is leaching the traffic. It's a way to get around getting caught I guess. I think the only thing I can do is try to find out his hosting company. Has anyone noticed that he is using Twans template as well?

Ok, try to follow along. Someone posts MY copyrighted content on a surfer forum. This is theft. You then encourage people to copy content found on forums to other forums. You are, therefore, encouraging theft.

Rogue had a post a while back with proof you were promoting child porn on your website, remember that Mikey? And didn't he also offer up proof you were using content from Sponsor A to promote Sponsor B?

Sponsors don't shut down forums because most are hosted outside the USA plus they don't HOST the content. People upload it to free hosts that are generally outside the USA, but if you think sponsors don't take action, you're sorely mistaken, believe me on that one.

Here you go again it's like you are always finding things to post about Pam and then adding your own spin to them. As I said the link I had on my site pointed to a site that had nonnude content and was all 18 or 18 year old stuff from what I could see at first glance. Once someone pointed out to me what was on the site I removed my link and reported them. As for that thread it also says not to use sponsor content when posting links and I have always used amateur content in my rapidlinks so stop accusing me of sponsor theft. There may have been a few instances where I posted a sponsor link by accident but I have always taken them down. I even have a sponsor remove thread on my forum so sponsors can have anything they want blocked if one of my surfers posts something and that's more than most forums do, and as I said my forum has been locked for some time.

As far as that post I made about forum traffic that was when I was only getting 1k a month in sales. Last month I made over 3k and although this month seems slow I still think I will do well. Since my traffic has grown from other sorces I see that I need to move away from forum traffic because I am growing and don't need it anymore. But for a noob anyone can make 1k a month from just forum traffic and linkdumps if you know what your doing.

shouldn't be a big surprise Pam....if you read this guys posts most of them are just an excuse to spam his referral links...and if he doesn't understand that most of the content on rapidshare is stolen/unauthorized uploads then he won't understand your reply as he is too thick to get it.

Just because someone already posted it doesn't give you permission to go around reposting it. It's a shame that one of his main sponsors doesn't really do anything about this sort of thing, cause I know if the sponsors I promote found out I was using their material to promote someone else my account would be terminated in a heartbeat.

where is this amateur content coming from? Are you shooting it yourself? Are you purchasing it from a broker? Or are you just taking pics from myspace and using that to promote your sites? Just cause it's amateur and not from a "sponsor" doesn't mean you can copy the content and use it for your own promotion.

I will tell you the same thing I told Pam I know the difference between sponsor content and amateur content. I am signed up with over 500 sponsors and I can usually tell what is amateur. Also if you know the boards you know that there are 3 or 4 well known ones that only allow real amateur girlfriend pics. And guys post there everyday. You guys keep acting like I'm a noob but I was a member of GFY for 2 years before I cam here and I was already making almost 1k a month. It was not Happy Meal money as someone else said but I don't like to respond to every slur thrown at me because it is a waste of my time
