If you are in the USA and you take explicit content you think is amateur, even with permission, you are breaking Federal law 18 USC 2257 -- ever heard of it, Mike? Do YOU have documentation for every explicit photo on your sites, Mike? Even sponsor content? The law says you have to.

Just imagine if you do what Mike says. You go to surfer forums and find pictures of amateur hotties. You have this photo of this gorgeous, hot chick having sex with 2 guys and take it and put it on your sites and make plenty of sales from it. Then one day, the FBI shows up at your door and asks for model releases and 2 forms of photo ID, one government issued, as they claim the girl is 16. Doesn't matter if she looks 25, doesn't matter what you say - -the FBI does not have to prove she is 16, YOU have to prove she is over 18.

i tried making this point to him a while back (and it also applies to those many usercash gallery promoters) but i think mike must have really thick ears or something as he seems totally incapable of absorbing any sense whatsoever.
What gets me, and like that bunny bloke who stole that linkdump design, is that he is more intent in arguing a totally lost cause rather than admit that he has made a silly mistake and move on. Ever since Mike made that orginal post with his "tut" for surfer forums, every single post has been telling Mike that he has done wrong but he either will not accept it or really cannot see that what he is doing is thieft

Even if people post on the boards that others are welcome to grab the content, I bet anything that they can't show proof that they own the content in the first place.
My own stolen content that I found on other sites, almost always had the url cropped out. Anyone on one of these boards could just say that the girl in the pic is his girlfriend or wife.

Because if you read the tutorial in its entirety you will see that I said to buy content you post or to get permission and I specifically say you should not steal anything but I guess it's a long thread and most people don't feel like reading the whole thing. I guess I assumed that most people on this forum would no better than to steal sponsor content.
