USPS ripped my porn check!
I just picked up the mail and got an envelope from USPS with a ripped porn check inside...ripped in half. There is some generic apology from PLANT MANAGER on the back of the USPS envolope. How sincere! I feel so much better now that PLANT MANAGER has reassured me that I am a valued customer and that this rarely happens. It must not be too rare if they have a generic envelope prepared for the situation
 Anyone else ever had this happen to them? |

Were just receiving wires but Ive heard horror stories yes, call the company have them re-issue a new one and stop payment on this if its that bad
I got cash in the mail LONG ago once ripped in pieces, went to the bank and got a nice bill, mail always is troublesome... __________________

It does happen more frequently than it should. I'm told it's caused by the sorting machines jamming up, and that can be because letters are stapled, sellotaped or have other things that cause obstructions.

I have a small sized P.O. Box and have had it for so many years that I don't want to change it. Instead of putting the slip in for me to pick up excess mail, they shove so much in that I cannot get it out and have to get the clerk to do it so I don't shred the checks/catalogs.
I have had to get checks reissued. Dang post office. |

I dont even see my money anymore, its all direct deposit, or wire transfer.. I think we are turning into more of a checkless society. I always carry $100 in my wallet, if I spend it I just draw out whatever I spent. anything over $10 I just a debit card..
