Very few paysites actually use DRM on their videos. The less than a handful I've reviewed that did (leaving out those sites with only streaming videos, that's obviously a form of DRM as well) have dropped it again over the last year, usually with the argument that "members hate it" (and I'm sure they do, and if they find out that your competitors aren't using it I imagine rebills might start dropping).

Video aside, I have a hard time seeing how you would apply DRM protection to text content .
The closest thing to protection I can think of would be something like building your pages into a Flash interface. Don't really have much experience with that, but I'm assuming that would make it impossible to do a direct text copy.

Which of course isn't gonna stop anyone determined to steal you text from grapping a screenshot and either retype the text manually or run it through an OCR scanner.

Digital Rights Management. Which in practical terms means that Windows Media Player (not sure any other players actually support it) will ask you for an active membership login when you play a video - either every time (a royal pain in the ass for members, particularly if the license server is having a fit, which I've experienced on some occasions) or every few days or so.

The use of flash or pdf could provide some basic protection,
but somehow i think surfers won't like that.
