Thats a joke... Belgrade - the capital of Serbia is the most expensive town like 1000 kms in radious. Prague, Budapest, Sofia, Athens is fucking cheaper than Belgrade lol.

No its far from cheap. The people make shit money, I think on average around 200 euro per month but the cost of living there is like 400 euro or so per month minimal.

Its a farely known anomaly, not sure if you are familar with it, but its kinda like the regional 8th financial wonder of the world - the fact that people are able to live a life despite the fact that their income is approx 100% lower than their living costs.

Dont mistake cheap for poor. Serbia is at the moment a very poor country, but its definetly not cheap.
