Do you get mad head aches, feel sick, dizzy?

Do you ever get mad head aches, feel sick, dizzy/lightheaded? This has been me for the last fortnight. Gf said i most likely had vertigo, like allways i feared the worst and thought i had a tumor (twat). Couldnt use the computer for more than half an hour without feeling like i was gonna die. Anyway it turns out it was my shitty crt monitor, i bought an LCD yesterday and no longer feel like im tripping on lsd. Couldnt believe it was something so simple. Ive used it for two days solid now and theres not even a twitch in my eye, feels like i have a new head.

Not one of the most interesting threads but its worth remembering as i doubt i will be the last to be caught by this.

Welcome to the 21st century

It made a big difference when I switched over. The worst I get now is a bit of eye strain or headache after a long bender.

I am on my crt and feel ok with it. But consider buying LCD, however I don't know if i would feel better, since i am ok now lol

well i remebered that when I wake up at the morning after working 8-10 hours I feel very very little dizzy for the first 10 minutes. Seems like it is because of computer

i feel now days as if i m finished. cant work on pc more then 2hour feel very dizzy and sick..

i think u r right on crt monitor.. i use 17" Sony..

i remember reading about this as a symptom in some thick medical book somewhere...iirc, it means you have some rare jungle fever, and are going to die within 24 hours...it was nice knowing you...

could be a form of photosensitive epilepsy
I was getting the same thing from my crt
doc said it was a form of photosensitive epilepsy brought on by the refresh rate.
switching to a lcd did help for awhile.

I got lcd screens, so it's not the case for me. Luckily it only happens sometimes, nothing severe though

Yep the refresh rate of a crt sucks
it hurts the eyes unless you push them to 70,75 or even 80
but it does shorten the life span especialy in hot zones

no problems since im on an lcd screen

I never noticed the difference between crt and lcd either until I tried a crt again after using an lcd for a number of years. Made me feel like me eyes were going to fall out.

To much work maybe the reason for that.. Unwind yourself... Go to beaches see the exotic sceneries.... Rest is the solution for that in my opinion...
