the art of supermarkets and your traffic
we all know that fresh fruit bought (hi krusty
 ) from the supermarket is of less quality, and more expensive than buying from a fruit and veg shop / outdoor market, but people buy from supermarkets because of the convenience of supermarkets - everything in one place, and the ease of it. laziness / time saving...i'm sure we all have our reasons.what do you do to help your surfers that is a convenience for them? what do you do that will help them to spend their $$ (even if the product is of less quality / more expensive than what they can get elsewhere)? __________________

Hot sites/deals and decent freebies at surfer eye level - same as the supermarkets do...
 My understanding is a surfer's eye is immediately drawn to the top right of your site - I'm probably wrong lol... Probably why some of my own favourite blogs have a single left column - and suck for sidebar sales - typical me  I read something about colours too - ones that woo you into buying - guess I should dig that one out - the supermarkets spend zillions on colour specialists __________________

I don't know if this is the most useful analogy. People pay the added expense at the supermarket because it will take time to drive to another store and time is money. The time it will take for them to visit another website however, is negligible.
