Producing Video Content
I was speaking with a friend who was interested in making the transition from mainstream video to adult video production. He brought up a question which made me curious as well.
When producing content for resale (non-exclusive), are the models aware that copies of their identification will be made available to webmasters or programs who purchase the content as part of the 2257 requirements? I understand that once a model signs the model release, they have no say over the use of the content if it is outlined in the release. But how about disclosing the model's personal information to other individuals other than the primary content producers. Can anyone shed some light on this? |

They know
EVERY content release has to have copies of the modelrelease (when its non excl most of the times the address is blanked out) and twin ID for the model. So yes they know. Since they signed they should know if the sec producer is allowed to put her face on toiletpaper or not. Not that models ever read the releases. Disclosing to 3rd party like surfers is arranged legally and any serious webmaster wont unless theres a dispute and IDs have to be produced. I suggest you tell your friend he seeks legal guidance on 2257 to make sure hes ok and doesnt get sued yrs later by some model cause he failed to understand the releases. __________________
